Until now, I have made things looking at different styles or historical periods. That has worked well, but i felt that my items somehow lacked a good framework. Last week I wrote a very short origin story, about how a people in the early iron age might have explained where all the rock carvings came from. I like storytelling and thought that maybe a story like that one could be that framework. So, if I can find the time and money necessary to create a kind of exhibition with objects, music and a story to follow, I might have found my next big project after the door that I'm working on now. New horizons

I have spent the holidays working on improvements for my company and its' homepage. Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been around for the last three months. No new craft images, no comments on other peoples' crafts. That has a good reason. I have had quite a tough summer. In late June, I collapsed in the smithy from what proved to be over-exhaustion. I had been working 13 hour days, weeks on end for a month. School took its time, after which I worked evenings in my own workshop. My stress level was higher than ever before. Plenty was being done, but my body decided that enough was enough. My friends forced me to calm down after that, so I managed to get through my exam project and finish the blacksmithing course.

hahaha no problem ^^
Really great stuff. I'm hoping to get into smithing and bronze casting myself soon. Very inspirational.
Thank you. My advice is to just jump into it and try. Find a blacksmith and ask him/her to show you. Most are happy to do so.
Thanks for the watch! I'll keep an eye on your work! =)
Thanks for the watch! You have nice gallery, keep up the good work :)
